African Young People: Ways to Improve on Your Current Life By Javnyuy Joybert

I got up this morning and i was asking myself these questions “Joybert this is another new week in the month of May and this is the 5th Month already in the year 2017, am i living out my goals, how can i improve my life this week, this month for the better” I was asking this question because i know that the only way to change my current level in life is to improve. Consistent improvement leads to consistent growth. But the unfortunate thing is that millions of young people want to change from failure, stagnation to growth and success when they are not improving either in knowledge, wisdom, ideas, network etc.

After asking these questions to myself i started reflecting and looking at the areas in my life that need improvements, looking at the ways i can improve my current life. I came out with the following which am happy to share with you:-
1. Improve Your Positive Self Talk
I can boldly testify on what the magic of positive self talk has done to me. It has not only change my mindset towards myself but has consistently made me to believe in my abilities. You are your own best source of praise. In other to improve your life you will need encouragement and support from yourself Dough Sandler said.
2. Look at your goals again
To improve on your current self, you need to refine your goals. Check if you need to set higher goals, if you need to break them into small bits, if you need to set realistic time bound etc.
3. Believe in yourself
I always say “I believe in Jesus Christ, I believe in myself, I believe in my abilities, I believe in my idea”. You must believe in the possibilities; you must believe that tomorrow can be better than today.
4. Seek More Wisdom
The Bible says in Ecclesiastes 10:10 “If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct” Jim Ron will say “Ask for wisdom that creates answers, ask for wisdom to deal with the challenges for today and tomorrow”
5. Manage Your Time
One of your greatest assets is time as a young person. The way you manage your time tell me how your life will turn out to be tomorrow. Eliminate all the time wasters around and manage your time wisely. Have a to do list for each day or week. Have a plan for each day, week or month but be flexible for new opportunities.
6. Personal Development
Make it a point to learn at least one new thing each day that will draw you closer to your goals or dreams.
7. Organize Your Life
African young people are the most disorganized people i have seen. Know this today my friend, organization provides a sense of control and also boost your confidence. When you are organized, you have the ability to concentrate on the important things in your life.
Hope is Hopeless without Action. Take Consistent Actions Today
